I chose this for my 6 yo daughter who loves to sew with me and couldn't be happier. The set is well designed, great quality, and totally age appropriate for a joint activity. I guide her through it but she is so happy to use the blunted needles with the premade holes. And the results are ADORABLE. Only caveat here is to pay attention to how you put the pieces together! I keep finding myself not aligning things correctly or sewing on the wrong side and needing to do things over. But for an adult, making these dolls is a breeze so it's no big deal if you make a mistake.
